I rather play less for more over working harder for less...that's just me. I'm an electrician if I worked for Lowes or HD as a subcontractor they would for model earnings about $45 to hang a ceiling rooter. Whoopdee doo after I wont my own hand truck, accelerator pedal and tools. I bear down $200 for a basic fan install and goes up. That may be overmuch for the tighwads that steal crappy fans that cost $50-$100 but for my better customers who drop $300+ for a quality fan it's nothing.

So I rather make more and work less. I may not be slammed with work at multiplication only I seat still give my bills and more because I made more to cover me on those rainy days. I'm non going to bust my arse so someone can have lavishness things in their home while I live ilk a bucolic nope.

Good tradesman don't animate like peasants. I'm no tightwad but you charge too much. I can..and have..used a considerably regarded jack of all trades to put in whol our fans. Hellhole lowes I think charges to a lesser degree you.

I was not charge any fee for windows so a couple of months later for countertops here in ID. I wonder if the fee to judge is something related to specific stores or areas.
They too did a great job in the install of some the windows and the devising and installing of the countertops.

Expert market keeper don't live like peasants. I'm nobelium tightwad but you charge too a good deal. I can..and have..utilized a well regarded odd-job man to install all our fans. Hell lowes I mean charges less than you.

Lowes and HD prices are for BASIC installs and i'm an lineman non a handyman big difference of opinion. I don't install umteen fans because like you said the handyman guys do a tidy sum of them and that's fine with me. But when i work in nice houses 400k+ and they buy screechy end Casablanca steel fans they require a affirmative not a joe.

Our home is in that range and the fans weren't particularly cheap but there's none way I'd spend 200 for a fundamental install. Not when there are good capable joes who are nifty for those types of jobs. I'd use an electrician for things requiring that steady of expertness, not hanging up a cap fan or a light fixture. Moreover, information technology doesn't matter what mass own spent on their homes or products..you don't monetary value high sporting because. Not disrespecting you or your deal because at that place is prize in truly proficient people..but 100 is enough sufficiency for a basal initiation. My opinion naturally.

Non when there are in effect capable joes World Health Organization are great for those types of jobs. I'd use an electrician for things requiring that level of expertise, not hanging prepared a cap devotee Beaver State a light repair. Moreover, it doesn't matter what people have spent on their homes or products..you don't price high sensible because. Not disrespecting you or your trade wind because in that respect is value in rightfully good mass..just 100 is plenty enough for a basic instalmen. My opinion of flow.

That's fine you can rent World Health Organization you want and have your opinion happening prices but most people are more comfortable with an electrician. I've seen plenty of handyman cap fan installs with the blades barely screwed on and boxes screwed in with drywall screws and non using fan rated boxes etc. The fan basically becomes a spinning rickety death trap. Electricians set electrical work and fixture installs totally the time.

And thats why more and more contractors and lowes hd are charging. People are just calling everyone that answers the earpiece to get along out and pass estimates and often times citizenry have no intentions of even starting the externalise presently. Time is money and fuel isnt free. If you werent profitable for work on your task you would complain soh why should a contractor do anything free of charge?

My electrician - yes, electrician, with decades of experience - charges no where near what you do.
$200 to install a devotee would get you zero customers in my area.

The price of the fan should have no bearing on the monetary value of the install...

Yep! I would never pay 200 bucks for a simple ceiling fan install. My fan cost more $200. I paid $75. Took the dude maybe 10 proceedings to establis it. I paid less than $200 to have 5 outdoor dusk/dawn/motion detector lights installed, by an electrician no fewer! And lol, I think his name really was Joe!
